Are masks required?
No.  The Children’s Museum of Evansville is not requiring masks but recommended for all visitors.

What if my child can't wear a mask due to a medical condition or sensory processing condition?
We know that there are children and adults who have special needs or circumstances that make it difficult to follow our new mask policy which is why our cMoe Team is ready to work with families to make sure their visit a positive one. If your child has a medical condition or sensory processing issues that prevents them from wearing a mask, please contact us at [email protected].

What measures is cMoe taking to ensure the museum remains a safe place to play?
We are committed to providing a healthy and safe environment for all families. We've made modifications to our galleries and exhibits. New practices and protocols have been put in place that follow the local, state and CDC guidelines:

  • We've expanded our regular cleaning protocols to include: daily before museum opens, during open hours and after the museum closes.
  • Increased hand sanitation stations and social distancing floor markers throughout the facility.
  • All staff will be required to complete a daily health screening prior to each shift and will continue to wear face coverings.
  • Visitors are required to wear masks or face covering while inside the museum.
  • Seasonal outdoor programming will be available when weather permits.

Do I need advance tickets?
No. Ticket registration is not required at this time.

Will field trips/group visits be offered during this time?
We look forward to welcoming group visitors back to cMoe beginning fall semester 2021. If you are interested in a field trip/group visit, email [email protected].
