volunteering & internships
cMoe offers a wide range of volunteer opportunities: preparing crafts, cleaning exhibits, guiding field trips, greeting visitors, engaging kids in playtime. cMoe volunteers have a blast and help us meet our mission!
Beginning June 2019, individual cMoe volunteers will be required to attend at least one (1) volunteer orientation. Volunteer orientations will take place every other month at the museum and registration is required. We strongly discourage “drop-ins”.
Orientation Dates (2019)
June 8 (10:00 am-11:30 am) August 10 (10:00 am-11:30 am) October 5 (10:00 am-11:30 am)
December 7 (10:00 am-11:30 am)
Corporate and community organizations that would like to volunteer as a group, please contact Clay Prindle at [email protected].
Volunteer Open Houses
Interested in lending a helping hand on a regular basis?
cMoe will host scheduled open house meetings for new and returning volunteers throughout the year. Those in attendance will learn all about cMoe's volunteer program and incentives. All community members are welcome to attend open houses and no registration is required. Volunteer open houses will take place in Spark Plug on the 3rd floor. Please check in at the front desk upon arriving to the museum.
For questions, please contact Clay Prindle at [email protected].
cMoe partners with the University of Evansville, the University of Southern Indiana and Ivy Tech Community College to offer internships for course credit. Interns can experience a wide range of career-enhancing experiences at our museum. cMoe internship opportunities vary but typically include opportunities in Education, Marketing and Advertising, Event Planning, and Hospitality.
