back to school bash!
Help us send summer off in style at our upcoming Back-to-School Bash Concert, proudly sponsored by Evansville Music Academy! Join us on Saturday, August 15, from 4:00–8:00 p.m. at cMoe for an exciting community celebration filled with live music, hands-on activities, family fun, and plenty of ways to make one last splash before the school year begins.
This end-of-summer event will feature an energetic opening performance by the EMA Teen Band, followed by a headline concert from local favorite Georgia Funkadelic. Families can explore the museum, enjoy interactive educational activities, visit community partner booths, participate in professional musician workshops, and experience an Instrument Petting Zoo hosted by Evansville Music Academy. Additional activities include creative arts projects, STEM and music learning stations, student enrichment opportunities, workshops led by professional musicians, and special programming presented in collaboration with the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra.
Guests can also connect with local schools, nonprofits, arts organizations, businesses, and other community partners while enjoying food trucks, museum exhibits, and an evening that celebrates both the accomplishments of summer and the excitement of a new school year.
