Field Trips Inspire Learning
Extend the learning beyond the classroom and give your students a field trip to remember at the Children's Museum of Evansville! cMoe programs are aligned with academic standards and are ready for you and your students! Our programs are multidisciplinary - integrating science, technology, engineering, art and math learning.
Explorer (Grades Pre K-5), self-guided field trip
Children, along with their teachers and chaperones, explore the museum at their own pace. Explorer field trips are offered Tuesday through Friday beginning at 10:00 am and 1:00 pm.
The format of in-person field trips is as follows:
- Students, teachers, and caregivers have access to all of cMoe’s exhibits.
- All exhibits are open to the visiting field trip and the general public.
- Minimum group size is 20; maximum is 120 (larger groups will be split into 3 smaller sub-groups for optimal learning experiences)
- 5:1 student / chaperone ratio required (1 chaperone for every 5 students; required chaperones attend the museum at no cost – additional chaperones pay $5.50 each)
Cost is $5.50 per student.
If you are looking to enhance your field trip experience, add a 45-minute workshop to your visit. Contact us for more information.
