Rosa Parks-Join us to learn all about the incredible Rosa Parks, whose bravery helped to initiate the civil rights movement. We’ll read a story, and then reflect on times when we’ve been brave through creative writing and drawing.

Megan Piphus

Join us on February 23rd for a special Spotlight Performance by musical ventriloquist, Megan Piphus! You may recognize Megan from her appearances on the Oprah Winfrey Show, NBC’s American’s Got Talent, and the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Megan has a great presence throughout the community and social media, mentoring children to follow their dreams and pursue their passions, just as she did.

The Spotlight Performance Series features artists and cultural performers from the Tri-State and region throughout the year.

Storyteller Tammy Deicken

Tammy Deicken as The Taleweaver is active in various local and regional oral performances, especially in the form of storytelling. Tammy has performed in house concerts, fireside at campgrounds, libraries, and even cruise ship programs!

Tammy will perform from 11:00 am-11:45 am at the Children's Museum of Evansville. All activities included with cMoe admission:

$8 Per Person/Free for cMoe Member Families

cMoe will be OPEN for play on Presidents Day from 9 am-4 pm.

January 29-February 1: Starry Night– Join us to learn about the great Vincent Van Gogh and to create your own version of his iconic painting “The Starry Night.”
