Join the Children's Museum of Evansville as we count down to the total solar eclipse over Evansville with our month-long Countdown to Totality. Programming begins on March 5, 2024 and runs through April 7, 2024. All activities are FREE with paid admission.

BONUS COSMIC CLUB with Mandy Scurry
Join our area’s NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassador and ASP/NSF Eclipse Star Educator Mandy Scurry to learn about eclipse science, culture, history and art while collecting ways to make the most of this remarkable event happening in our own backyards.

SCIENCE ASSEMBLY with Mr. Science
Jason Lindsey, aka "Mr. Science," with Hooked on Science, is a nationally-recognized STEM educator, science multimedia journalist, meteorologist, and author. He will be here teaching us all about the sun, moon, the stars, and planets.

SUN, MOON, EARTH, & ME with Susan Fowler
Storyteller Susan Fowler will share eclipse related stories and activities as we countdown to totality. Each session will include a story, craft, song, sign language, and smiles!

RECYCLED BEGINNINGS with Candice Beck
Join local artist Candice Beck in creating a collection of collaborative art pieces using recycled materials.

SUN MOON & DARK with Jess Bernardin
Join in on this luminous experience, creating your very own eclipse out of various art materials with local artist Jess Bernardin.

STAR DOME
Check out the stars, planets, and more in our brand new Star Dome located in Freedom Gallery! The dome will be open at 10a, 12p, and 2p each day Tuesday-Saturday for 30 minutes at each hour.
